村上和夫先生の講演を聞いて
先般、天風会の同僚より、「村上和雄 筑波大学教授がお亡くなりになりました。心からご冥福を祈り、村上さんを偲んで、白鳥哲 映画監督から 映画『祈り～サムシングレートとの対話～』を云々とのラインが入って来た。
ところが、また何時かくらいの感覚で、余り気にも留めず、日々の雑事に追われ、そのままにしていた。ところが、このゴールデンウイークと緊急事態宣言が重なって、何時もの様に動けなく、特に今日5日は雨という事もあって、家で過ごす事となった。

約1時間ほどの講演でしたが、驚きと同時に深い感動を覚えた。同時に真実はひとつというか、凄い先生がおっしゃっていることは、どこかで皆通じているということを思い知らされた。
表現方法は違うし、研究している分野も全く違うが、村上和雄先生の講演内容と、私しが長年続けている天風先生の教えが、根っこの部分では通じており、真実はひとつという事を改めて思い知らされた。

Recently, I received a message from a colleague of mine at Tenpukai: “Professor Kazuo Murakami of Tsukuba University has passed away. I prayed from the bottom of my heart for his soul, and in memory of him, I received a message from Tetsu Shiratori, a film director, saying that he was going to make a movie called “Prayer: A Dialogue with Something Great.
However, I didn’t pay much attention to it as I was busy with my daily chores and left it at that. However, with the Golden Week and the emergency declaration, I couldn’t move as usual, and especially today, the 5th, I had to stay at home because of the rain.
So, I went to my computer and reopened the line from my colleague that I had been wondering about, and typed “Kazuo Murakami ・・・・・” and found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqOt_N2TN2I

I came across it.
The lecture lasted about an hour, but I was surprised and deeply moved at the same time. At the same time, I was reminded that the truth is one, and that what the amazing professor is saying is somehow common to all of us.
Although the methods of expression are different and the fields of study are completely different, the content of Kazuo Murakami’s lecture and the teachings of Tenpu Sensei, which I have been following for many years, are the same at the root, and I was reminded once again that the truth is one.
