マスコミ報道に思う
マスメディアの報道が社会や政治に及ぼす影響はとてつもなく大きいものである。
それだけにマスコミ関係者は、報道に慎重で正確であって欲しいと思うが、恣意的とは思いたくはないが、そんな傾向が見え隠れし、少し気になっている。
この傾向は戦前、戦中にもあったようで、時の報道各社は大東亜戦争に向けての応援歌を大々的に報じ、戦中には大本営発表の報道機関と成りさがり、国民を戦争一色に煽り、戦後はGHQの意向に従い（従わざるを得なかったが・・・）自虐思想を国民に植え付け、日本弱体化政策の宣伝機関の役割を果たしたのは間違いない事実である。
現代の報道のあり方をみても、テレビはどのチャンネルをひねってもコロナ一色。少し落ち着いたかと思うと、こんどは接待交際一色であったりなど、テーマをもって恣意的に動いている感じがする。
また、政治家や評論家は、弱者救済的な立場で発言すれば全てOK。個人情報と人権に配慮し、失言しないよう最大の注意をすれば、政策の良し悪しなどたいした問題には成らず、マスコミの餌食にならずに済む。事なかれ主義が一番賢い生き方のようであるが、本当にこれで良いのかと思う事が最近多くなってきた。
「本音で物言えば、唇さぶし」で、世の指導的立場にある人が、本音を吐かなくなっているのでは・・・。その影響もあってか、弱者的立場の権利主張だけが正義の如く取り上げられ、大手を振っているように思えてならない。
そのような流れをつくっているのが報道機関では・・・。

As long as politicians and pundits take care of their personal information and human rights, and are careful not to say anything wrong, the merits of their policies won’t matter much, and they won’t fall prey to the media. It seems to me that the best way to live is to keep a low profile, but lately I have been wondering if this is really the best way to live.
If you say something honestly, your lips will be smashed,” and I wonder if people in leadership positions in the world are not speaking their mind. Perhaps because of this, only the rights of the weak are being taken up as if they were righteous, and they seem to be gaining ground.
Isn’t it the media that is creating such a trend?
