水際作戦
水際作戦⁉。
弊社が主業とする「採用調査、人事調査」の営業トークでよく使わせて頂くのが、「水際作戦」。
企業の求人活動で一番に気を付けなければならないのは、不良分子を入れないこと。一端不良分子（悪性ウイルス）を入れてしまうと、日本の今の労務問題からすると、クビ（解雇）にするのは相当難しい。ところが、もたもたしていると、不良分子の影響でウイルスはまたたく間に蔓延し、企業の一大事に至ることさえ有り得る。
その為には、採用時に悪性ウイルスの侵入を防ぐことが第一。ところが、単なるペーパー試験や面接だけで、応募者の能力、資質及び不良分子の有無を見分けるのは非常に難しい。そこで、「私どもの調査を水際対策として使って下さい」とお願いしているのが弊社の営業である。
これと同様で、今、安倍政権が必死に取り組んでいるのが、コロナウイルスを蔓延させないための「水際作戦」である。特効薬が開発されていない現段階で取るべき方策は、この水際作戦しかない。少し大げさすぎるのでは、と苦言を呈する人も居るかもしれないが、水際作戦は、「何が何でも・・」くらいの感覚で取り組まないと成功はおぼつかない。
今が対ウイルス戦の正念場である。
こんな事を思っているが、それにしても株式市場は敏感だネ。日経平均もさることながら、ダウなど目も当てられない乱高下である。コロナウイルスが早々に白旗を挙げてくれるのを願うばかりである。

The first thing to watch out for in a company’s job search is to keep the bad guys out. Once a bad molecule (malignant virus) is included, it is quite difficult to fire (dismiss) it, given Japan’s current labor problems. However, if we delay, the virus can spread quickly due to the influence of bad molecules, and it can even become a major problem for a company.
For this reason, the first thing to do is to prevent the invasion of malicious viruses at the time of adoption. However, it is very difficult to identify an applicant’s abilities, qualifications, and the presence or absence of bad molecules by simply taking a paper test or interview. Therefore, our sales staff is asking you to use our survey as a countermeasure against the water’s edge.
Similarly, the Abe administration is now desperately working on a “waterfront operation” to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. At this stage, when no specific drug has been developed, this is the only strategy that can be taken. Some people may complain that it is a little too exaggerated, but unless you tackle it with the sense of “No matter what…”, you will not be able to succeed.
Now is the critical moment in the fight against the virus.
This is what I’m thinking, but even so, the stock market is very sensitive. Not only the Nikkei 225, but also the Dow, which has been on an unpredictable tumble. We can only hope that the coronavirus will raise the white flag sooner rather than later.
