帰郷報告
先週まるまる一週間、田舎（隠岐郡西ノ島町）に帰っていた。往復に２日捕られるため、正味は５日間。ただ冬の日本海は厳しい。日本海は日露戦争当時と変わらず、「天気晴朗なれど波高し」の言葉通り、凪いでいても２メートルはある。
小生の小船ではとても外海には出れず、友人に無理をいって連れて行ってもらうしかなかった。従って、まともに釣りが出来たのは１日だけ。しかし結果は上々。２キロ前後のヨコワ（マグロの子）を、２２本釣ることができた。
これで来春まで隠岐とはさようなら・・・。
I was back in the countryside (Nishinoshima-cho, Oki-gun) for a whole week last week. The net is five days because they are caught for two days on a round trip. However, the Sea of Japan is tough in winter. The Sea of Japan is the same as it was at the time of the Russo-Japanese War, and as the saying goes, “The weather is clear but the waves are high,” even when it is calm, it can be two meters high.
I couldn’t go out to the open sea with my small boat, so I had to ask my friend to take me there. Therefore, I was able to fish only one day decently. However, the results were good: we caught 22 Yokowa (tuna litters) weighing around 2 kg.
So, goodbye to Oki until next spring….
