仕事始め
新年あけましておめでとうございます。本年もどうぞよろしくお願い致します。
今日５日は弊社の仕事始め。9時早々から社員皆が6階の会長室に集い、ささやかな新年礼会をする。これは弊社創業以来の儀式で、特に目新しい事ではないが、新年早々皆が笑顔でお神酒を酌み交わすのは良いものである。
例年だとこの後、得意先への挨拶回りに出かけるのであるが、今年は「会長は社内で通常業務に勤しむように！」との厳しいご下命があり、正月気分は直ぐに吹っ飛び、寸暇も惜しんで業務に精励することとなった。
年越しの仕事もかなり溜まっているが、ありがたいことに年明けと同時に相当の初荷が届き、朝から大忙し。今日は天満の天神さんにお参りしようと思っていたが、その時間も取れず・・・トホホ。
この調子だと、今年も老体に鞭打たれて相当にこき使われそうな雰囲気である。ただ、「元気で仕事が出来るうちが華」と心得、今年も精一杯頑張る所存です。旧年に倍しましてご指導ご鞭撻を賜らんことを伏してお願い申し上げます。

Today is the fifth day of work for our company, and from 9:00 a.m. on the sixth floor, all the employees gathered at the chairman’s office for a small New Year’s party. It’s not a new thing, but it’s good to see everyone smiling and pouring sake with each other early in the new year.
Normally, I would have gone out to greet my clients after this, but this year, I was told, “Chairman, please go to work on your regular business in the company! The New Year’s mood was immediately blown away and we had to spare no time to devote ourselves to our work.
I have a lot of work to do for the New Year’s Eve, but thankfully a lot of the first shipment arrives at the same time as the new year, so I’ve been busy since the morning. I was going to visit Tenjin-san in Tenma today, but I didn’t have time to visit there…..
At this rate, it looks like he will be whipped by his old body and get a lot of work done this year. However, I will do my best this year as well, remembering that “the more energy I can work, the better”. We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your continued support and guidance.
