ゴールデンウイーク
企業の年間休日は大方１２０日内外。弊社も御多分にもれずで、兎に角休みが多い。小生が大学新卒で入った会社など、当時は完全な６：１勤務。所謂６日働いて１日休み。その上、人のよっては１００時間、２００時間の超過勤務を平気でしていた。職種柄もあるが、よく働いたものだ。
ところが最近こんな事を言えば、監獄行きであろう。
それにしても今年のゴールデンウイークは長い。大方の企業が４月２９日から５月５日までの７連休。多いところだと５月８日までの１０連休。こんな休みを皆はどんなにして過ごすのだろう・・・。
最近の若者は多分に休日慣れしていて、それなりに上手く過ごすのだろうが、働き蜂で青春時代を過ごした小生ら団塊世代は、少々戸惑いを覚える。ただ、実際は同年代は「毎日が日曜日」に入っている人も多いが・・・。
まーそれはそうとして、小生は明日から１週間、故郷の隠岐の海で過ごす予定。凪さえよければ水深１００から１２０メートルの沖に出て、釣り竿をたらす。錘が底に着くやいなやググッとくる、一匹で揚げるのは効率が悪い。２・３回ググッ、ググッと来たところでおもむろに糸を巻く。船底近くまで上げると、赤味を帯びた魚形が見える。そう、２０センチ前後のレンコ鯛が２枚・３枚。
青もの釣りもやってみたい。ハマチ、メジロ、マルゴ、ブリ、ヒラマサ、何でもＯＫ。釣れるものを釣る・・・。ジグ釣りは結構きついが、これは凄い。ガツンとくる、ググッじゃなくガツンとくる。この感触が忘れられない・・。
さー明日は帰るぞ・・・・。
The annual holiday of a company is usually 120 days or less. Our company also has a lot of holidays. The company I joined as a recent university graduate was a complete 6:1 job at the time. Nevertheless, this year’s golden week is long. Most companies will have seven consecutive holidays from April 29th to May 5th. In many places, there are 10 consecutive holidays until May 8. I wonder how people spend their holidays like this…
These days, young people are probably used to holidays and spend them reasonably well, but baby boomers like me, who spent my youth as a worker bee, are a bit perplexed. However, in reality, many people my age are in “every day is a Sunday”….
By the way, I’m going to spend a week in the sea of my hometown, Oki, from tomorrow. If there is a calm, go out to a depth of 100 to 120 meters and put your fishing rod on the water. As soon as the weight reaches the bottom, it is not efficient to fry a single fish. When you raise it to near the bottom of the boat, you can see a reddish fish shape. That’s right, two or three 20-centimeter-long breams.
I also want to try my hand at blue fishing. Catch what you can catch…. Jig fishing is pretty tough, but this is great. It’s not the googling, it’s the thumping. I’ll never forget this feeling…
