家庭菜園
我が家の庭にも春が到来。
女房に云われ続けていた耕作放棄地にやっと鍬を入れる気になった。一カ月前くらいから暇を見つけては、２坪ほどの畑を耕し、牛糞と苦土石灰を混ぜて準備万端。２週間ほど寝かせ、一昨日畝を作って黒マルチで覆い、キュウリ、茄子、トマトの苗を数本植えた。
夏野菜は一挙に出来る為、今年は時期を少しづつづらして植えようと思っている。たった２坪ほどの畑であるが、夏野菜はこれで十分。結構収穫できるんだよな・・・。
Spring has arrived in our garden.
I finally decided to break ground on the abandoned land that my wife had been telling me about. About a month ago, I found some free time to plow a 2.5 square meter field, mixed cow manure and bitter lime, let it sleep for about two weeks, and the day before yesterday I made a row, covered it with black mulch, and planted a few cucumber, eggplant, and tomato plants.
This year, I’m going to plant summer vegetables in small increments so that I can grow them all at once. This is enough for summer vegetables though the field is only about 2 square meters. You can harvest quite a bit….
