墓参
先週末（土）、久しぶりに女房と二人で高野山に墓参りに行った。前々から気にはなっていたが、高野山は意外と遠い。和歌山市内でも２時間走れば行けるのに、何故か高野山は優に３時間はかかる。
朝１０時に自宅（枚方）を出たが、ナビを見ると高野山着予定は１３時３０分。エッと思うが、仕方ない。ただ、救いは天気。久しぶりの小春日和に睡魔が襲ってくるが、それでも女房のおしゃべりで何とか持ちこたえ、一路高野山へとひた走った。橋本をすぎたところから新しく自動車専用道が出来ており、それに乗るが、出口を間違え、紀ノ川インターを降りるはめとなった。ところが、これが幸い。ふと道路端の標識をみると、「華岡青洲屋敷跡２キロ」とある。「行こう・・」の一言で、そのまま華岡青洲屋敷跡へ。

結局、１時間寄り道をした為、高野山についたのは３時過ぎ。

Last weekend (Saturday), my wife and I went to Koya-san with my wife for the first time in a long time. I’ve been wondering about it for a long time, but Koya-san is surprisingly far away. It takes 2 hours to get there in Wakayama City, but it takes 3 hours to get to Koyasan.
I left home (Hirakata) at 10:00 a.m., but according to the navigation system, I was scheduled to arrive at Koyasan at 13:30 a.m. I’m sorry, but I can’t help it. The only saving grace is the weather. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a good day in the early spring, and I feel sleepy, but my wife’s chatter keeps me going. There was a new dedicated road after Hashimoto, and we took it, but we took the wrong exit and had to get off at Kinokawa Interchange. However, this was a blessing. A sign on the side of the road read “2 km of the ruins of the Huaoka Qingzhou residence”. Let’s go…” and we went straight to the site of the Aosu Hanaoka residence.
