同窓会
２０日（土）から２１日（日）にかけ神戸に所在する六甲荘にて、三八会（昭和３８年卒業組）と称する黒木中学校（島根県隠岐郡西ノ島町）の同窓会が開催され、いの一番に参加。
小生は、同窓会に関しては超優秀である。中学、高校など同窓会と名のつく集まりは欠かしたことがない。完全１００％出席。これは、多分小生一人では無いかと思う。
という事は、それだけ恵また人生を送って来たと云う事かも・・・。先ずは健康、これは、何より健康に産んでくれた両親に感謝。この世に生を受け６６年余、病気らしい病気をしたことがない。記憶にあるのは２３・４歳の頃、風をこじらせ気管支炎になりかけ、１日会社を休んだ事があるが、以後、そうした事もなし。たまにギックリ腰で動けなく成ることがあるが、これは良い休養と思っているくらいで、余り気にしていない。健康診断をすれば、少し血糖値が高いとか血圧が高めと指摘されることがあるが、逆に、それに気をつけるから、適度の運動も心がけ、食事にも気を付ける。その為、他の数値はオールＯＫ。と云う事は、血糖値高めが健康の基と云えなくもない。有り難いことである。後、家庭と会社に恵まれたいうこと。出席に理解を示す妻と社員に感謝・感謝である。
大体６０歳を過ぎての同窓会は、病気と年金と孫の話で花が咲くらしい。従って、その３項目は禁止としても、何故か話はその方向に行く。
ご多聞に漏れず、今回もそう。しかし、今回はそれもＯＫ。何をかくそう、小生が一番に孫の話・・・。今までは、病気も無ければ年金も無く、そのうえ孫も無し。故に、その手の話には入るに入れなかった。ところが、今回は違う。そう・・今年６月６日、初孫が誕生したのである。誰が何と言おうと孫でまごまごするのは何とも楽しいのだ。指しゃぶりを始めたら手をたたき、寝がえりをしたら大喜び、アッ、ウッと声を出せば将来は歌手か・・・・など、親馬鹿ならぬお祖父ちゃんバカを発揮している。
同窓会翌日の日曜は、皆で六甲のハーブ園見学。ところが小生は、当日１１時より、孫の「お食い初め」の儀式が入っており、単独行動。早々に娘宅に向かった。
「お食い初め」は、婿殿のおじいちゃんが手作りして来た、木製茶碗に箸、コップもお皿も、全てこの日の為に作られた力作。メインの鯛は小生が隠岐で釣った鯛。何とも幸せな孫娘であろう・・・・。
その後、１３時からは天風会の祝賀行事。香里賛助会の若手がこの度、行修リーダーに合格（体操指導などが出来る資格）した為の激励会であった。
平日は仕事、土日になると何か予定が入り、ノンビリ自宅でという事のない毎日であるが、これはこれで良しか？。来週日曜は東京で会議、再来週は後鳥羽会（海士町の郷土会）に参加等など、必ず休日は何かでつぶれるのである。
From Saturday 20th to Sunday 21st, an alumni reunion of Kuroki Junior High School (Nishinoshima-cho, Oki-gun, Shimane Prefecture) was held at Rokkoso in Kobe.
When it comes to alumni, I’m super good. I’ve never missed any reunion gatherings, including junior high and high school. Full 100% attendance. I think I’m probably not alone in this.
Maybe it means that I’ve been blessed with such a good life… First of all, good health. I thank my parents for giving birth to a healthy baby. In more than 66 years of my life, I have never been sick. I remember that when I was 23 or 4 years old, I almost got bronchitis from the wind and missed a day of work, but I haven’t done that since. Occasionally I can’t move because of my hip, but I don’t mind it too much because I think it’s a good rest. If you do a health checkup, it may point out that your blood sugar level is a little high or your blood pressure is high, but on the contrary, I’ll take care of that, so I’ll also try to exercise moderately and pay attention to my diet. This means that high blood sugar levels are the basis for good health. Thankfully, this is a good thing. Also, I was blessed with a family and a company. I am grateful and thankful to my wife and employees for their understanding in attending.
It seems that reunions after the age of 60 are usually filled with stories of illness, pensions, and grandchildren. Therefore, even though those three items are banned, somehow the story goes in that direction.
As you may have heard, it’s the same this time. But this time it’s okay too. Until now, there has been no illness, no pension, and no grandchildren. Hence, I did not enter into that kind of talk. This time, however, it was different. That’s right, on June 6th of this year, my first grandchild was born. No matter what anyone says, it’s fun to be a grandchild and muddle through. He claps his hands when he starts sucking his fingers, is overjoyed when he falls asleep, and is a singer in the future if he makes a squealing sound…etc.
On Sunday, the day after the reunion, we all visited the herb garden in Rokko. However, I went alone because I had a ceremony for my grandson’s “first meal” from 11:00 a.m. on the day of the event. Early on, I headed to my daughter’s house.
The wooden bowl, chopsticks, cups and plates were all handmade by his grandfather-in-law for the “Oikizome” event. The main sea bream is the sea bream that I caught in Oki. What a happy granddaughter she must be…..
Afterwards, at 1:00 p.m., it was a celebration of the Tenpukai. It was a pep rally for a young member of the Kori support group who passed the examination as a gymnastics leader (a qualification to teach gymnastics).
On weekdays, I work, and on weekends, I have plans, so I don’t have time to relax at home. Next Sunday, I will be in Tokyo for a meeting, and the next week I will attend the Goto-Toba meeting (Ama town’s hometown meeting).
