天風会の夏
天風会の夏が来た！！。
天風会は基本、夏に心身統一の修練を各地で行っており、今年も、７月１２・１３・１４・１５日と３連休を利用して、神戸賛助会主催の修練会が実施され、来る７月２６・２７・２８日の３日間は、我が香里賛助会の修練会である。尚、８月に入れば大阪、東京と大々的な修練会が実施される。
何故７月８月の最も暑い季節に修練会を実施するかというと、色んな説はあるが、宇宙の気を取り入れるのに最も適した季節が夏と言う事らしい。従って、香里は頑なに、１年を通じ最も暑い７月末の金・土・日というのを守って来た、それも昭和４６年から一貫して。しかし、今年８月末で修練している会館を明け渡さなければならなくなっており、来年は会場探しが大変という状況にある。
香里園付近で何処か適当な場所があればお教え下さい・・・・。
私は平成４年に天風会に入会したもので、未だ２２年ほどにしかならないが、４０年、５０年と熱心に天風道を貫き、日々修練に励む先輩方は沢山居られる。修練会でそうしたベテランの方からお話が聞けるのが、私の楽しみの一つである。
今は長くて５日間、しかし、天風先生ご存命中の修練会は２週間通しで行われていたらしい。今のような忙しい時代では、とうてい考えられない期間であるが、昔はそれでも、何百人と押すなおすなの盛況で、毎年会場に入れ切れない会員が溢れていたと聞く。

The summer of Tenpukai is here!
The Tenpukai basically holds the training of mind and body unification in the summer at various places. This year, too, the training sessions will be held on July 12, 13, 14, and 15, three consecutive holidays, and the next three days, July 26, 27, and 28, will be the training sessions of our Kori support group. In August, a large number of training sessions will be held in Osaka and Tokyo.
There are various theories as to why we hold the retreat during the hottest season of July and August, but it is said that summer is the best season to take in the cosmic energy. Therefore, Kari stubbornly observed the hottest days of July, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, since 1971. However, at the end of August this year, he has to surrender the hall where he has been practicing, so he will have a hard time finding a venue next year.

I joined the Tenpukai in 1992 and it has only been 22 years, but there are many seniors who have been following the Tenpukai diligently for 40 or 50 years and striving for daily practice. It is one of my favorite things to hear from such veterans at the novitiate.
Now it’s five days long, but it seems that the training sessions were held for two whole weeks during his lifetime. In these busy times, this period of time is unthinkable, but in the old days, it was still a great success with hundreds of people pushing and shoving, and I heard that there were many members who couldn’t make it to the venue every year.
