ＮＰＯ法人国際地雷処理・地域復興支援の会
３連休を利用し１泊２日で、女房と２人松山に行って来ました。
小生の友人、高山良二が理事長兼現地代表を務める「ＮＰＯ法人国際地雷処理・地域復興支援の会」の講演会（高山の帰国報告会）が開催され、それに参加。
１５日（土）早朝、３時３０分に出発。山陽道から「しまなみ街道」を走り、今治から松山に入るルートを選択。「しまなみ街道」で各島を結ぶつり橋の一つ。こんな雄大なつり橋を次々と渡る。
朝ぼやけの、しまなみ街道は、中々の味わいでした。
９時半会場に到着、１０時開演
先ず最初に、地雷撤去に多額の資金協力を行った人、及び、小学校等の建設支援をした方を表彰。
高山の帰国報告、パワーポイントを使い淡々と話しているが、滅私奉公とはこの事と唸らせるに十分な活動報告であった。微力ながら友人の一人として、出来る範囲で積極的に協力したい・・・・と強く思わされた。

道後温泉に宿泊し、翌朝、周辺を散策。道後温泉の「からくり人形」 １時間に１回、２階建ての時計台が３階建てになり、中からからくり人形が出て来て踊りだす。

で、元の姿に。思っていたより、中々のもの。
１３４段の石段を登ったところにある「いさやは神社」
道後温泉から徒歩１５分程の所にある、四国八十八ケ所の五十一番札所「石手寺」、表現は悪いが、何とも面白いと云うか、雑然としたと云うか、インド、中国、日本、ミクロネシアなどアジア各国の仏様が、普段着で遊びに来ているようなお寺であった。その一部をご覧あれ・・・。

話しは変わって今朝の出来事。小生が大切にしていた愛用の扇子をテーブルの上に乗せていたら、何時の間にか廣太郎がお使いあそばし、上手に扇げないのにお怒りあそばしたか、こ の有様。これで何本目やら・・・・。

We left early in the morning of 15th (Saturday) at 3:30am. We chose to take the “Shimanami Kaido” from Sanyo Expressway and enter Matsuyama from Imabari. One of the suspension bridges connecting the islands with the “Shimanami Kaido”. We crossed such a magnificent suspension bridge one after another.

First of all, awards were given to those who provided a large amount of financial support for the removal of land mines, and those who supported the construction of elementary schools and other facilities.
Takayama’s report on his return to Japan, although he used a power point to speak indifferently, was enough to make us gasp at the idea of selfless servitude. As one of my friends, I would like to cooperate positively to the extent I can.
