マスコミ
早や師走。何時も思う事ながら過ぎ去った時は早い、でも結構一分は長い。状況と感じ方によって物は違って見える。「百万の人が居れば百万の正義がある」とか、云われてみると全くその通りと思う。故に、余り頑迷に自己主張をしていると嫌われる。
そんな思いから、今年はもう少し大人のブログにしようか・・・等と考えていたが、やはり結果は同じ。相変わらず、同じ主張を繰り返してしまった。でも、とり方によっては、それだけ一貫していると云う事であり、それが私なのだから仕方がないか・・・。
それにしてもマスコミって凄いね。個人情報保護法は対象外で、公的な人のプライバシーはある程度制限され、事と次第によっては公開されても仕方ないらしいが、何の意味があってあんなくだらない芸能人の裏話や、聞きたくもない嫌な事件ばかりを追いかけて、事細かく報道するのか・・・。全くあきれるばかりである・・・。
例えば、社会面のニュースは、明るいもの建設的なものを５０％以上、殺人やイジメなど暗く嫌なニュースは５０％以下と定め、それに違反すると罰則があるくらいにしないと、今のマスコミではどうしようもない感じがする。
最近ニュースを聞いていて楽しのはスポーツくらい。後は、政治にしようが社会面にしようが聞くに堪えないようなニュースばかり。こんなニュースを日々観たり聞いたりしていると、間違いなく人間はマイナス思考が強くなり、怒りぽくて取り越し苦労の上手な、消極的人間が知らず知らずの内に出来上がってしまう。
で、そうした人間が事件を起こし、またニュースになる。政治家は、天下国家を考え、国民を見て政治をするものと思っていたが、最近は何よりもマスコミを意識して政治をしなければならないらしい。
戦前の様な報道規制や言論統制は論外だが、マスコミと云うのは、もう少し社会的影響の大きさを意識した経営であって欲しい。視聴率さえ取れればOKとする、今のマスコミ界に人は居ないのであろうか・・・。
It’s early in the month. As I always think, the time goes by quickly, but a minute is quite long. Things look different depending on the situation and how you feel. When I hear people say, “If there are a million people, there will be a million justices”, I think it’s absolutely true. Therefore, if you assert yourself too stubbornly, you will be disliked.
This year, I was thinking of writing a more mature blog… but the result was the same. As usual, I repeated the same claim. However, depending on the way I take it, it’s just that I’m consistent, and that’s just me…
The media is amazing, though. It is not subject to the Personal Information Protection Law, and the privacy of the public is limited to some extent, and it seems that it is acceptable to disclose it depending on the situation, but what is the point of reporting in detail, chasing only such a trivial backstory of an entertainer or a disgusting case that you don’t want to hear… I am completely baffled….
For example, I feel that the current mass media can’t do anything about it unless the news on the social front is set to be at least 50% bright and constructive, and 50% or less dark and disgusting news such as murders and bullies, and there are penalties for violating these rules.
Recently, the only thing I enjoy listening to the news is sports. The rest is just news that I can’t stand to hear, whether it’s political or social. Watching and listening to this kind of news on a daily basis will undoubtedly make you a negative thinker, an angry and passive person who is good at getting things done, without knowing it.
So, those people make a case, and then they make the news again. I used to think that politicians play politics by thinking about the nation as a whole and looking at the people, but nowadays it seems that they have to play politics with the mass media in mind more than anything else.
The pre-war press regulations and speech control are out of the question, but I wish the mass media would be managed with a little more awareness of the magnitude of its social impact. Isn’t there a person in the mass media world today who thinks it’s OK as long as it gets ratings…?
