ヨットマン
先週末知人の紹介により某ヨットマンと会食する機械に恵まれた。彼のヨットマン、仲間内で神様と崇められる程で、
世界的に知られた凄い人であるが、一般的には余り知られていない極ごく普通の小父さんである。一般に云われるように、
超一流の人ほど傍目には凡人然としており、肩を張らず、寡黙で、威張る事がない、と聞くが、まさに彼の人がそうであった。
多分本人自身、自分が凄いなんてちっとも思っていない、のでしょう。門外漢の私が馬鹿な質問をしても、真剣に丁寧に応えてくれるし、
自然に自分もその場の雰囲気（酒席）を楽しんでいて、何一つ特別な存在を感じさせる言動がない。ただ、お顔はインドの高僧
（仏画でしか知らないが）を思わせる雰囲気があり、話には何の衒いもなく、純真無垢と云うか、
欲得の世界に生きている小生に取っては軽い衝撃を覚えるお方であった。
多分、何かを極めた人と云うのはこうなのかな、そんな事を強く印象づけられた。携帯番号も聞いたし、
また一度お会いしてジックリと話しを聞いてみたいと思っている。
Last weekend, I was blessed with a machine that allowed me to have dinner with a yachtsman through the introduction of an acquaintance. His yachtsman, who is worshipped as a god among his peers.

As a person who lives in a world of greed and gain, he was a slight shock to me.
