We usually trust resumes…right?
You’re writing your own resume, so there’s no reason to make any mistakes, and it’s hard to think about lying on your resume. Therefore, the
Most people believe that a resume is the right thing from the get-go.
However, in this era of job-hunting difficulties, there are some people who repeatedly change jobs after 2 or 3 years, and others who are not able to find a job.
If you’ve been fired or resigned due to some inconvenience in your previous job, when you turn to your desk to write your resume, you’ll find that you’re not the only one.
It’s not a good time to be honest with you.
The thought rears its ugly head. Therefore, they tend to hide the companies that had scandals, overtake the companies that left after only a short period of one or two years, and then go on to the second or third year.
The three companies will be reported as one, and the results will be consistent.
This discrepancy in history accounts for 30% or more of our mid-career hiring surveys (background checks and resume checks) as a whole.
This is not limited to our company, but in Japan, there are ministries and agencies that take a negative view of this kind of investigation.
No statistical figures have been released, but in the case of the United States, according to statistics from a major research firm
Almost as many as 30 percent of the time, they’ll admit to history theft.
Therefore, there is no such thing as background falsification.
From an investigator’s point of view, it’s an everyday occurrence, not something to make a fuss about.
There is an admitted difference in background. However, her work ethic was not bad, she obeyed her supervisor’s instructions diligently and diligently, and she got along well with her colleagues.
There are no inconsiderable grounds for resignation, and there is nothing of particular concern because he has decided to change jobs to advance his career.
The report (report) is summarized as follows. Some of them say, “Undeclared work experience, at a certain company, is not a good thing.
It is assumed that there was a fact that the company was dismissed on disciplinary grounds after it was discovered that it had spent money, and that the company did not report it in order to hide it.
This is a report of the following. However, these cases are within the realm of understanding and are quite common.
Recently, however, there has been a case of “career falsification” (resume falsification)
It’s the kind of thing that makes an investigator, who takes it as an ordinary thing, ooh and aah.
I was fiercely opposed to the amendment of the Family Registration Law three years ago, foreseeing the coming of Japan as a paradise for frauds and sounding the alarm, but the number of very cunning frauds is on the rise.
It seems to me that it is becoming a reality.
In general, companies looking for immediate employment are now using private placement agencies (paid placement agencies).
However, this employment agency is a business licensed by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and the guidance of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare is absolute. For this reason.
Job seekers (registrants)
The company did not conduct a background check on Knowingly or unknowingly, one of the job seekers in my career class is
There’s a lot of history fraud that you wouldn’t expect, and more and more badasses are forging proof of enrollment to prove their history.
I’ve given specific examples on this blog before, but I recently experienced that in our research
There is no indication that the investigator ________ ever worked for a certain company, so it is assumed that his resume is an essay.
The client company summoned the respondent and reconfirmed that he had brought a “certificate of enrollment” and that he was a member of the
I’m sure this is true…” he offered. Naturally, the client company is upset.
Our sales staff also said, “I’m sorry, we’re going to have to recheck…
He said with a flat head. He immediately instructed the investigator to re-examine the case, and the investigator said, “That’s ridiculous…
He mumbles and starts to investigate again. The result is a “certificate of enrollment.
was found to be a forgery, but it was only a forgery.
In this case, the forgery was found by chance, but the current flow of the Personal Information Protection Law and the guidance of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare
If you’re not sure if you’re going to be able to get a job, you’re going to be able to get a job.
will come to pass. No, they’re already there, and they’re hiring people with respectable false resumes.
There is a great possibility that there is an unfair selection process in which people who honestly declare their real background are rejected.
To be honest, the way things are going right now, unless a research firm like ours is involved in a pre-employment investigation, it’s going to be nearly impossible for a recruiter to spot background fraud.
Especially in career class hires, you won’t be able to spot a case where someone is trying to write a resume and dive in with some kind of intent. Because…
The residence certificate, graduation certificate, and enrollment certificate are all unavailable to anyone other than the person himself, and he never responds to inquiries from third parties on the grounds of “personal information protection”. However.
If you are so inclined, you can easily forge a certificate of residence or various certificates…
What I’m saying here is that if we don’t have a system that allows a third party to verify “personal information” with a valid reason, it will be impossible to avoid a crime in advance.
Most of the work of a research company is about risk management and how to avoid risks by conducting preliminary research.
If you try to take personal information for this purpose, you will be asked to attach “background information” to show the causal relationship. However, in the preliminary investigation phase, the
There is usually no such thing as a causal relationship. I mean, it’s a pre-contract credit check, pre-hiring background check.
This is because most of the time it’s an afterthought in contracts and post-employment investigations. I have my resume in hand.
It would be ridiculous not to be able to at least check whether the background is a mistake or not. However, the current situation is that neither the government nor the major corporations are willing to comply with this policy using personal information as a shield.
The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare is trying to deny the investigation itself….
