早や師走。過ぎ去った時の早いこと、驚くばかりである。１２月は、
何時も泰然と構えている師も走り回る程に忙しい月とされたものであるが、我が調査業界はその言に反し意外にゆったりとしており、
「忙しいのは資金繰りばかり・・」と言うのが定説である。弊社もその説に違わず、仕事はサッパリであるが資金繰りは超多忙。
給料は２回支払わなければならないし賞与も出さなければならない、従って４?５ケ月分の給与が必要。その他お歳暮に年末挨拶の手土産、
その上に度重なる忘年会である。給与やお歳暮などはいたしかた無いがこの忘年会というのが中々の曲者。
何故かしら歳を負う毎に忘年会の数も増え、最近は１２?３回が定数になってきた。飲むようで飲めない小生に取っては一寸した至難である。

そんなこんなで今夜も忘年会。正しくは船場ロータリークラブの「クリスマス家族懇親会」
であるがキリスト教と無縁の小生に取っては忘年会感覚である。ただ、会社や同僚との忘年会と少し違い、家族同伴が原則で結構な催し物もあり、
最後にオークションが行われる。

オークションは、会員それぞれが商品を持ち寄りそれを競りにかけるが、これが中々面白い。
メンバーの多くが商売人であり商品もさまざまで量も多い。そのため何時もの事ながら競りに１時間を要し、売上金も相当額になる。
売上金は全額奉仕に当てられる為、競り人は競り上げに必死にならざるを得ない。

その競り役の一員に今年は割り当てられており、今日の忘年会はねじり鉢巻でひと頑張りする事となる・・。

It’s early in the month. It’s amazing how quickly the time has gone by.
It was considered to be a busy month for a master who is always ready to take his time and run around, but contrary to the saying, my research industry is surprisingly relaxed.
It is a common belief that “all you are busy with is cash flow”. Our company is no different from this theory, and although our work is slow, we are very busy with cash flow.
The salary must be paid twice and the bonus must be paid out, so you need 4 or 5 months’ salary. Other souvenirs for year-end greetings at the end of the year
On top of that, it was a frequent year-end party. I can’t help the salary and the end of the year, but this year-end party is quite an eccentric one.
I don’t know why, but as I get older, the number of year-end parties increases, and recently, 12 or 3 has become a fixed number. It’s a bit of a challenge for me, who can’t seem to drink but can’t.

But for me, who is not related to Christianity, it is like a year-end party. However, it is a little different from the year-end party with the company and colleagues, and there is a fine event in principle with the family.
Finally, there will be an auction.

In the auction, each member brings his or her own product and bids on it, which is quite interesting.
Many of the members are tradespeople with a variety of products and a lot of volume. As always, it takes one hour for the auction to take place and the amount of money sold is considerable.
Since all the proceeds go to the service, the auctioneer has to be desperate to make a bid.

I was assigned to be a member of the bidders this year, and I had to wear a twisted headband for the year-end party today.
