隠岐国観光大使
本日11：30?13：30の予定で、中津のラマダホテル大阪16Fにて、隠岐観光大使「ござんせ」
任命式があった。
先週末に突然、隠岐ノ島町役場から電話があり、「6月9日に観光大使の任命式を行うので是非出席して欲しい」とのこと。正直、エッ・・
という感じ。大使なるものを引き受けたという覚えはない・・。ただ、関西隠岐人会の筆頭副会長を務めている事からして断る訳にはいかない、
と自分なりに即断。「出来るだけ都合をつけて参加します」と返事した。
ところが本日会場に行ってみると、関西地区での観光大使は僅か10名である。大使の選定基準が如何なるものであったかは知らないが、
仕事は隠岐の宣伝である、一人でも多くの方に隠岐観光に来てもらいたいという事に他ならない。であれば、
50人でも100人でも出来るだけ多くの方に大使になって貰ったら・・、と疑問に思ったが、役所は役所なりの考え方があるのだと思い、
素直に任命式に望んだ。
任命式では、隠岐の島町長から、隠岐杉で作られた額入りの隠岐国観光大使之証を頂いた。その証には、「一．隠岐国を愛する。一．
隠岐国の魅力を伝える。一．隠岐国へ多くの人々を導く、 右旨相心得べき事の証也 島根県隠岐観光協会会長」 と彫られている。その上に、
500枚の大使の名刺である。
そして、大使のノルマは一人100名を隠岐の島に連れて来ること、という。何とも厳しいノルマである。我が社の5倍位のノルマである。
しかも無給である。
しかし、よくよく考えてみると、それだけ隠岐の観光も厳しいという事なのだ。特に今年は、
隠岐の島にジェット機が就航する年である。
ジェットの就航期間は7月6日?8月末までの僅か2ケ月弱であるが、この間乗客率が７０％
を切ると来年からは就航しなくなる。それだけに島民皆が必死である。
観光大使としては、「明日からは仕事度外視で隠岐の宣伝に努めなければ・・」との思いである。
このブログを目にした方は万難を廃して隠岐観光、帰郷でのジェット機利用を考えてください・・・。そして、私に一報下さい。
すると大使の名刺をお渡しします、この名刺は葵の印籠の如き力があり、観光協会にその名刺を渡すと、
隠岐でのあらゆるものが割安にて利用できる、というものである。何が何でも一報下さい。
今週、日月は1泊で中学同期のゴルフコンを楽しんだ。そして、今度の日曜は近畿国賀会（隠岐の島出郷者の会）の理事会である。
6月はどうも隠岐づくしの月になりそうだ・・・。

I made an immediate decision of my own. I replied, “I’ll join you as soon as I can, at your convenience.
However, when I visited the venue today, I found that there were only 10 tourism ambassadors in the Kansai region. I don’t know what the criteria were for the selection of the ambassador, but
My job is to advertise Oki, and I want as many people as possible to come to Oki tourism. If it is the case that
I wondered if I could get as many people as possible to become ambassadors, whether it be 50 or 100, but I thought that the government has its own way of thinking, and so I decided to do it.

At the appointment ceremony, the mayor of Oki Island gave me a certificate of Oki tourism ambassador made of Oki cedar with a frame made of Oki cedar. The proof of this is in the words, “1. I love the Oki Islands. 1.

Jet has only been in service for less than two months, from July 6 to the end of August, but during that time the passenger rate has increased to 70%.
It will not be in service from next year. That’s why all the islanders are so desperate.
As a tourism ambassador, I feel that I have to make an effort to promote the Oki Islands from tomorrow without considering my work.
