採用調査（呆れた応募者）
求人誌での営業マン中採募集に応募があった。年齢４３歳、工業大学卒、大手建設会社及び住宅販売会社での職歴が３社。
面接での印象は良。言動はハキハキとしており労働意欲も十分に感じられ、面接官も「これはひろい者か・・」と思ったという。
そこで、経歴及び前職での勤怠、職務能力、退職理由などを確認する、採用調査を当社に依頼してきた。
営業から統括を経て昨日朝１番に調査員にその調査案件が配布された。調査員は、早速履歴の確認調査に着手したが、
あにはからんや調査は全く進まない。先ず、大学の卒業確認を試みたが、該当なし（大学は確認に応じてくれないが、
大学の卒業者名簿が保管されており、名簿にて確認する）。
大学新卒で就職し１３年勤めたとある大手建設会社は個人情報保護を理由に職歴確認に応じてくれない。２社目の職歴、
大手住宅販売会社に確認を試みる。直接人事を訪問しても同様の理由で多分応じてくれない。そこで、
職務経歴書から読み取れる直接の所属営業所及び同部署を管轄する営業関係部署で確認に努める事とし、
かなりの時間を費やすが全く確認できない。５年間勤め２年前に退職した先である。１０年も経過しておれば未だしも僅か２年前のこと、
古参社員は「私はこの部署に１０年居るが全く記憶にない。２?３ケ月の短期であれば自信はないが５年となるとチョット・・」との返答。
最終３社目の中堅住宅販売会社も今ひとつハッキリしない。何時もの調子で簡単に引き受けた仕事であるが、
担当調査員は頭を抱えて調査部長に相談、「部長、この人サッパリ判りません・・、何か方法有りませんでしょうか・・」。うーん・・
部長も頭をかかえるが、何か云わなければ格好も付かない。「現住所行ってみたんか・・」、 「いえ、居住地調査は別案件になりますので」、
「しかし、判らん場合は居住地が基本や、、。とにかく行ってこい」。早速、調査員は淀川区の申告住所地に向かった。履歴書には妻あり、
扶養家族蘭には２人と記録されているにもかかわらず、居住地はワンルームマンション。近所付き合いは全くなく、判ったのは、
家賃７万円で１年ほど前からの単身住まいというのみ。
この時点で、「履歴詐称の訳あり人物の可能性大」と判断されるが、確たる証拠はない。頭をかかえた調査員、再度部長に相談。
そこで部長、「社長この案件、少し費用かかりますがトコトンやりますよ・・」とひと声かけてきた。勿論OK。
結果はなんと業務上横領（横領金額８６０万円）で昨年１２月に逮捕されていた事が判明。履歴は全くのデタラメで住宅販売会社ではなく、
某大手スーパーに勤務していた人であった。無論妻子など居なく独身である。
どうして判ったのか・・。それは秘密です。但し、１００％警察などからの情報入手ではなく違法調査でもない。
ただ、たまたま今回のケースは上手く判ったが、必ず判るかと云われれば自信はない。今後ますます個人情報入手は難しくなるが、
その分アクがはびこる事になるのは間違いない。保証できる。
人権、プライバシーを護る為に、もっともっと大きな人権が侵害される結果になる可能性がある事を知って欲しい。
