昨日、近畿国賀会の第４１回総会が大阪の南で開催された。

近畿国賀会とは、日本海に浮かぶ孤島、隠岐の島（島根県）の島前地区（隠岐は大きく分けて島前、島後の２つに分けられる）
当たる西ノ島町出身者の近畿在住者の親睦会である。私は昨年よりこの会の会長を仰せつかっているが、これが思ったよりも大変。
オール手作りの会で、毎年の事とは言いながら当日の会場設営は勿論、その準備及び準備の為の打ち合わせなど、
当日にこじつけるまでが中々である。

こうした会の世話役を務める人には正直頭が下がる思いである。決して出しゃばること無く、肩を張ることなく、
皆が郷里を懐かしんで喜々として手伝って呉れる。同郷の士の結束を味わえる喜びのひと時である。

昨日の総会は、出席者１６０名。昨年は４０回記念総会という事もあり２５０名強の大人数であったが今年は数的には少し淋しかった。
しかし、座の盛り上がりは昨年に勝るとも劣らない賑やかなもので、出席者の皆から、「中々よかった」との言葉を頂くことができ、
主催者としての喜びを味わうことができた。

今日は昼から東京出張。得意先への挨拶周りも兼ねてであるが、知人が今日、東京の麹町で鮨屋を開店する為のお祝いが一番の目的である。
場所は、麹町４?３?９（メトロ麹町駅から徒歩１分）、屋号は
「鮨　江戸時代」。10坪程の小さな店であるが、安くて美味しい鮨をとことん追求した店である。
私も店作りには計画段階から関わっており、ひとごとでなく、大いに期待している。そして、
来年３月には赤坂見付の駅前で「鮨　江戸時代」
２号店のオープンを予定し、
最終的には鮨屋の上場を目指しているのである。

Yesterday, the 41st general meeting of the Kinki Kokaga Kai was held in the south of Osaka.

The Kinki Kokugakai is the Shimamae area of Oki Island (Shimane Prefecture), an isolated island in the Sea of Japan (Oki is broadly divided into two parts: Shimamae and Shimago).
It is a friendship party for people living in Kinki who are from Nishinoshima-cho. I have been the president of this association since last year, but this is more difficult than I thought.
It’s an all-hands-on-the-ground meeting, and although it’s a yearly event, we not only set up the venue on the day of the event, but also prepare for it and have meetings to prepare for it.
It’s not easy to get it right on the day of the event.

I must admit that I have a lot of respect for the people who take care of these groups. No need to be intrusive, no need to stand on your shoulders
Everyone looks back on their hometown and is happy to help out. It is a joyful moment to taste the unity of the people of our hometown.

Yesterday’s general meeting was attended by 160 people. Last year, there were more than 250 people because of the 40th Anniversary General Assembly, but this year, it was a little lonely in terms of numbers.
However, the turnout was as lively as last year’s, and all the attendees commented that it was a very good event.
I had the pleasure of being the organizer.

I’m on a business trip to Tokyo from noon today. The main purpose of my visit was to celebrate the opening of a sushi restaurant in Kojimachi, Tokyo, by an acquaintance of mine.
It’s located at 4-3-9 Kojimachi (1 minute walk from Metro Kojimachi station), and it’s called
Sushi Edo-era is a small shop with a floor space of only 2.5 square meters, but it is a place that pursues cheap and delicious sushi.
I’ve been involved in the creation of the store from the planning stage, and I have high hopes for it. And.
In March of next year, “Sushi Edo Period” will be held in front of Akasaka Mitsuke Station.
The second store is scheduled to open.
Eventually, he hopes to list his sushi restaurant.

７月２２，２３，２４日と３日間、香里天風会の夏期特別研修会（修練会）が行われた。千葉、東京、埼玉、愛知、京都、大阪、兵庫、
高知、広島、島根と各地域から多数の熱心な会員が集まった。猛暑の中での３日間、無論クーラーなどは無く、室内は畳、
外は芝生という自然豊かな中である。男子は短パン一つで素足に上半身はだか、女子は一様上着は着ているが素足は変わらない。
そんなスタイルの男女が５０名近く居るのだから、外から見ると多分異様な雰囲気かも・・。年齢は子供から９０歳余の高齢者まで様々で、
職業も全くバラバラ、大学教授も居れば無職の人も居る。とにかく社会的な地位や名誉は全く関係なく、ただ天風先生の教えに共鳴し、
少しでも真人に近づこうとする人の集まりである。其れだけにお互いわだかまりが無い、年齢も仕事も地域も全く関係なく皆がすぐに打ち解ける。
従って自然と気は充実してくる。室内温度は３７度位にもなるが「熱い」などと云うものは一人もいないし、実際にそんなに暑さは苦にならない。
あれが一人で自分の部屋にでもいると３０分ともたないのではないかと思うが不思議なものだ。
カリキュラムは前回このブログに掲載した通りであるが、このカリキュラムは３４年間変った事がない（香里天風会は）。
毎年同じ事を学び修練する訳であるが、感じ方は毎年違う。私は今年で１４年ほどになるが毎年新たな学びがある。
特に今年は色々と感じることが多くあった。とにかく充実した３日間であった。気は漲っている、
今週は何時にもまして仕事に遊びにと精力的に動くことになるのでは・・・。

今日は、会社を一歩出れば天神祭りの真最中。これから大川端を歩き、芋の子を洗うような人混みの中を自宅へと向かうことにする。
途中脱線しなければいいが・・・。

The occupations are completely different, some are university professors, some are unemployed. Anyway, it doesn’t matter what social status or honor you have at all, just that you resonate with the teachings of Dr. Tianfeng.
It is a group of people who try to get even a little closer to True Man. Therefore, there is no rivalry with each other, and no matter the age, work, or area, everyone is able to open up immediately.
Therefore, the chi naturally becomes fuller. The temperature in the room is about 37 degrees Celsius, but no one calls it “hot” and I don’t feel so hot.
It’s strange to think that he could be in his room by himself in less than half an hour.
The curriculum has not changed in 34 years (Kori Tenpukai).
We learn and practice the same things every year, but the way we feel is different every year. I’ve been doing this for about 14 years now, and every year I learn something new.
I’ve felt a lot of things this year in particular. Anyway, it was a very fulfilling three days. I’m full of energy.
I’m going to be more energetic this week, working and playing than any other week…

Today, if you step out of the office, the Tenjin Festival is in full swing. From now on, I’ll be walking along Okawabata and heading home through the crowds like a child of potatoes being washed.
I hope I’m not getting sidetracked…

土日月と３連休、と云ってもこの歳になると余り浮き立つ事も無い。で、何時ものように土曜は友人とゴルフ、
朝早いスタートで暑さもそんなに気にならず先ず先ずの成績、但し、バック９は猛烈な暑さと疲れでガタガタと何時ものパターン。
帰りにスーパー銭湯で一汗流しご帰宅と相成った。翌日日曜は天風会の日曜行修会、
今回は５日後に特別夏期修練会を控えている事もあって大忙し。それでも午後３時には大体の準備を終え、後は当日を待つばかりと気合が入る。

月曜は久しぶりに妻と出かける事にした。実は昨年春ごろから奈良県下の十三仏（真言宗のお寺参り、国宝級の仏像が沢山ある）
をお参りする計画を立て、暇を見つけては出かけていた。所がここ３ケ月はその時間が取れなかった為、今回は気合を入れて回ることにし、
自宅を８時過ぎに出発。最初のお寺が「新薬師寺」、何とも素朴なお寺であった。ただ、天平時代の仏像は素晴らしく、
観る位置によって表情が大きく変わるのにはおどろいた。次が天理の「長岳寺」、
ここは石仏が結構知られているようであるが延々と続くお地蔵さん参りで途中でダウン。とうとう最後まで上らずに下りてしまった
（とにかく暑かった）。そして、桜井市へ。ここで昼食を済ませ、「安倍文殊院」へ。このお寺は安倍晴明の生誕の地とか、
陰陽道ブームに乗ってか可也手を入れている様子。特に石灯篭の寄進を５０万円で大募集しているのには驚いた。次が、橿原市の「おふさ観音寺」
、ここは村中の住宅密集地に在る比較的小さなお寺であったが、ちょうど風鈴祭りの最中。境内に所狭しと吊り下げられた風鈴が、
盛夏の中で涼やかな音色を奏でている。何とも云えない風情であった、たぶん夕方から夜ともなればその風情もいっそうと思われたが、
そうもゆかず帰宅の途についた。思ったほどの渋滞も無く連休最後の日にしてはスムーズに楽しくお寺参りが出来、
何時とも無い清清しい一日であった。

明日から東京出張、木曜夜に帰宅し、翌日から３日間天風会の夏期特別研修会。今週は充実した週になりそうです。

Saturday, Sunday, Monday and three consecutive holidays, but at my age, I don’t get too excited. So, I played golf with my friends on Saturday, as usual.
I started early in the morning and didn’t mind the heat so much, but the back nine was rattled by the fierce heat and fatigue, which is the usual pattern.
On the way home, I went to a super public bath and got sweaty and went home. The next day was the Sunday Gyoshu meeting of the Tenpukai.
We were very busy this time because we had a special summer training session in five days. Nevertheless, by 3:00 p.m., we had finished most of the preparations and were ready for the day of the event.

On Monday, I decided to go out with my wife for the first time in a long time. As a matter of fact, since last spring, I have been visiting 13 Buddhist temples in Nara Prefecture (there are many national treasure statues of Buddha).
I made a plan to visit the shrine and went out in my spare time. Because I couldn’t take that time for the last three months, this time I decided to go around with a lot of enthusiasm.
We left our home just after 8:00. The first temple was Shin-Yakushiji Temple, which was very simple. However, the Buddha statues from the Tempyo period are amazing.
I was amazed at how the expression of the image changed greatly depending on the position of the viewer. Next is Nagatakeji Temple in Tenri.
It seems that the stone Buddha is well known here, but we had a long visit to Jizo-san on the way down. Finally, we didn’t go all the way up, we went all the way down.
(It was hot anyway). Then, we went to Sakurai City. After lunch, we went to Abe Monju-in Temple. This temple is said to be the birthplace of Seimei Abe.
It seems that they are getting on the Yin-Yang-Do boom and putting a lot of effort into it. In particular, I was surprised to see that they were soliciting donations of stone lanterns for 500,000 yen. Next is Obusa Kannonji Temple in Kashihara City.
This was a relatively small temple located in a dense residential area of the village, and it was in the middle of the Wind Bell Festival. The wind chimes hung in the precincts of the temple
It plays a cool tone in the midst of the midsummer. The atmosphere was indescribable, though it seemed to be even more so when it was evening and night.
It didn’t take long before I was on my way home. I was able to visit the temple smoothly and happily for the last day of the consecutive holidays without the traffic jam that I expected.
It was a refreshing day as usual.

I’m on a business trip to Tokyo tomorrow, returning home on Thursday night, and the next day I’ll be at the special summer training session of the Tenpukai for three days. It’s going to be a fulfilling week.
