Go to Travel, Western Province 33 Sacred Sites Pilgrimage
In the midst of the corona crisis, the government took a gamble with the Go-To travel program as an economic measure. It may be painful or it may be unavoidable, but it was a bold policy for the government to come up with.
What will happen to the Kan Maru, or what will happen to it?
As a Japanese citizen, since our country has come up with such a drastic policy, we can’t afford not to cooperate with it. That’s when it occurred to me to make a pilgrimage to the 33rd location of the Western Province.
I had originally planned to make a pilgrimage to the 88 temples in Shikoku when I reached the age of 65. And he had thought about traveling abroad once or twice a year. However, when he finally retired, he couldn’t leave the office for three days and had to work five days a week, so he hasn’t been able to make a pilgrimage to the 88 temples, let alone go overseas, and that’s how it’s been now.
However, thanks to Corona, I started working remotely this April because telecommuting has become the mainstream way of working, and I thought I could take advantage of it.
Last week, I took advantage of GoTsu Travel (35% discount on accommodation) to visit the second temple of the pilgrimage, Kongohoji Temple Kimii Temple, from Aogandan Watouji Temple (Katsuura, Nanki), the most important temple of the pilgrimage in the western part of Japan, on Friday and Saturday.
We drove down from Daini Keihan Station on Kinki Expressway and Hanna Road to Kashihara Shrine and visited the Museum of Horizons.
The closing words of the Declaration of the Horizontal Company at the National Horizons’ founding convention on March 3, 1922.
The closing words of the Declaration of the Seikosha, which cannot be read without tears. “Let there be heat in the world and light in humanity.
The path to Nachi-taisha, these stone steps go on and on…

Next to that is Nachi no Taki.
Famous places along Route 42
After this, we entered Wakayama City and went to the second temple in Wakayama City. I visited there, but I didn’t take any pictures. I’m sorry.
