帰郷

８月１１・１２・１３日と故郷、隠岐の島に帰って来た。

そうー、今でも行くのではなく帰るのである。その感覚が何なのかよく判らないけれど、誰が何と云おうと行くのではなく、帰るのだ・・・。

従って、帰郷すると、道会う人は、皆がみな「あらー、帰らっしゃんしたかの・・・」と声を掛けてくれる。誰もが、「帰って来た」との感覚しか持っていない。島を離れ４６年になるにも関わらず・・・、不思議なものだね、故郷とは。

帰郷した翌朝（８月１２日　午前５時過ぎ）の日の出。家の縁側から写す・・・。以前は、この縁側から釣りが出来るくらいの海の端であったが、防波堤が作られたため、家からの釣りは無理となった。

楽しい楽しい一日であった。田舎は良いな・・・・・。

On August 11, 12, and 13, I came back to my hometown, Oki Island.

Yes, even now, I’m not going, I’m going home. I’m not sure what that feeling is, but whoever says it is, I’m not going, I’m going home…

Therefore, when I returned to my hometown, everyone I met on the street would call out to me, “Oh, you’ve come back…”. Everyone only has a sense of “I’m back”. Even though it’s been 46 years since I left the island … it’s a strange thing, being home.

Sunrise on the morning after I returned home (August 12, just after 5 a.m.). Shot from the porch… It used to be at the edge of the sea where you could fish from this veranda, but because the breakwater was built, it was impossible to fish from home.

The morning sun on the sea is indescribably beautiful…

I took Kotaro for a morning walk. It was about 5:30 in the morning, and it was so crisp and clear…

We’re on the boat as early as 6:00… Go fishing on a friend’s boat.

As soon as you get to the point, you are ready to fish.

The water is about 50 meters deep. I fished it as soon as I put it in and had no room to take a picture. 2 sea bream and 2 horse mackerel at the same time.

After that, we had a lot of horse mackerel, sea bream, and kingfish…

Only about an hour’s worth of fighting.

As soon as I returned to the harbor with a big fishing flag, my classmate’s girlfriend greeted me…

Hirotaro is in a tired mode.

It was a fun and enjoyable day. The countryside is nice……..

お盆

お盆の行事は宗教行事なれど、日本全国お盆である。

　日本は無宗教国と云われる事もあるが、お彼岸やお盆の時期になると、猫も杓子も仏教徒に変身、仏教国となる。

　そこで我が社も毎年の事ながら、盆を挟んで前段、後段に別れ夏休み（５連休）に入る。ところが企業は近年、徐々にお盆という概念が薄れてきているようで、通常勤務のところが多く、仕事は普通に入ってくる。有り難い事ではあるが、実は納期に間に合わせるのが大変で、休みが休みでなくなる社員も出てくる・・・・。

　小生は、毎年お盆の３・４日間は故郷、隠岐の島に帰る事にしているが、今年は娘の仕事の都合もあり、土、日、月の３日間となり、お盆の１３日に故郷を離れなければならない。

　これも昔だと考えられない行為。両親が健在ならば絶対にそんな事は許してくれなかっただろうと思う。実は私の頭の中にもその感覚は強くあり、結構な抵抗はあるが、周りの人に聞けば、「まー別にいいんじゃない・・・」くらいの割りに気軽な答が返ってくる。すると、何となく小生も、「まーいいか？」。

　元来がご都合主義のいい加減なところがあり、勝手ないい訳を考えて、都合よく処理してしまう。と云う事で３日間、小生は隠岐の島に帰るのだ・・・嬉しいな・・♪♪うれしいな・・♪♪。

Obon is a religious event, but it’s a nationwide Obon event in Japan.

Japan is sometimes said to be a non-religious country, but at the time of the Oshogans and Obon (Bon Festival), both cats and ladders are transformed into Buddhists and become a Buddhist country.

Therefore, our company, as a matter of course, enters the summer vacation (five consecutive holidays) by separating into the first and second stages after the Bon Festival. In recent years, however, the concept of “Obon” seems to be fading, and many companies have regular workdays and work comes in normally. It’s a good thing, but it’s actually hard to meet the deadline, and some employees don’t have time off…

I have decided to return to my hometown, the island of Oki, for three or four days of Obon every year, but this year there is also the convenience of my daughter’s work, and it becomes three days of Saturday, Sunday, and the moon, and I have to leave my hometown on the 13th of Obon.

This was also an unthinkable act in the past. If my parents were alive and well, I’m sure they would never have allowed such a thing to happen. To tell you the truth, I have this feeling in my head as well, and I have a lot of resistance to it, but if you ask people around me, I get a casual answer like, “Well, it’s okay…”. Then, somehow, I thought, “Well, okay… .

There is a tendency to be a sense of expediency by nature, and they come up with their own excuses and deal with them conveniently. That’s why I’m going back to the Oki Islands for three days…I’m happy…I’m happy…I’m happy.

調査と個人情報

今週月曜日（７月３０日）、所属する船場ロータリークラブで、「職奉卓話」を行った。

ロータリークラブの４大奉仕の一つに「職業奉仕」と云うのがある。所謂、自分の仕事、職業を通じて社会に如何に奉仕するか、
それを学ぼうと言うのである。その一環として昨年より「職奉卓話」と云うのが行われる事になった。
目的は単純に会員相互の仕事をお互いにもっと知り合おうと云う事である。

人前で話すのは苦手であるが、順番が廻ってくれば絶対に逃げる事は出来ない。そこで、何時もの独善的な話になったが、
以下の内容を話し、お茶を濁した。

「職奉卓話」　　松谷　廣信

　創業３５年。法人企業をクライアントとし、人事調査を主に行っています。比率は、採用６０％
、特殊人事２０％、企業信用１０％、その他１０％と言ったところです。しかし、最近は非常に人に関する情報入手は難しくなっており、
仕事がし辛くなって来ています。

偏ったプライバシー意識の高まりや個人情報保護の行き過ぎた運用などに起因していると思われますが、今では、
個人情報は本人承諾なくしては入手してはいけないものの様に思われています。

個人情報保護法は、「個人情報取り扱い業者」（５千件以上の個人情報を体系的に管理し、
これを業務のように供する者）を対象とした法律ですが、一般家庭の主婦までが、「個人情報取り扱い業者」
であるかの如き解釈をしているようで、「それは個人情報ですから言えません・・・」と云うのが常套句になっています。

私どもの仕事の一環ですが、就職の際に応募者が提出する履歴書が正しいか否か、
その確認さえ出来なくなって来ています。学校は卒業確認に応じない、企業は在職確認に応じない、役所は住民票も戸籍も出さない。
全て個人情報保護が理由です。

従って、今では相手が何処の誰か確認するすべがなく、
相手が言う事をそのまま信用せざるを得ない状況に陥っています。こんな事は、騙されて始めて気がつきますが、騙されるまでは、
個人情報が保護されることは良いことだ、と単純に考え、疑問を持たないようです。個人情報に全て蓋をし、
相手が何処の誰か判らない社会を作って、人間のコミュニティー社会は成り立つのでしょうか・・・非常に疑問に思っております。

私ども調査会社の仕事は、リスクマネジメントの観点から、事を成す前、
事が起こる前に調べるのが仕事です。警察や司法関係者は、大半は事が起こってから調べるのが仕事です。しかし、
現実の社会は事が起こってからでは遅いのです、後の祭りでしかありません。しかし、役所は事が起こってからの調べには理解を示しますが、
事が起こる前の調査には極めて否定的です。こう言うのを、本末転倒と云うのでは。

覆面社会の到来が目前に迫り、詐欺師天国が形成されつつあります。今一度、
官民一体となって個人情報の取り扱いには議論を重ねる必要がある様に思えてなりません。

This Monday (July 30), I gave a presentation at the Rotary Club of Funaba where I belong.

One of the four major services of a Rotary club is called Vocational Service. So to speak, how to serve society through one’s work and profession.
I say let’s learn it. As a part of the program, we have been holding a “job-table talk” since last year.
The purpose of the meeting is simply to get to know each other’s work better.

I’m not good at public speaking, but when it’s my turn, I can’t run away from it. So, to my usual self-righteousness.
We talked about the following and muddied the tea.

The company has been in business for 35 years. He works with corporate clients, primarily in the area of HR research. The ratio is 60% for recruitment.
I said 20% for special personnel, 10% for corporate credit, and 10% for others. However, it is very difficult to get information about people these days.
It is getting harder and harder to work.

This is probably due to the growing awareness of biased privacy and the over-optimistic use of personal information protection, but now
Personal information is considered to be something that should not be obtained without your consent.

The Personal Information Protection Law provides for “personal information processors” (who systematically manage more than 5,000 cases of personal information, and who are responsible for the management of personal information).
However, even ordinary housewives are considered “personal information handling companies”.
It is a common saying, “I can’t tell you that because it is personal information…”.

It is part of our job to ensure that the CVs submitted by applicants for jobs are correct or not.
It’s becoming impossible to even confirm this. Schools don’t respond to graduation verification, companies don’t respond to employment verification, and government offices don’t produce residency cards or family registers.
The reason for all this is to protect your privacy.

So now there’s no way to tell where they are or who they are.
You’re in a situation where you’re forced to trust what the other person says at face value. This is the kind of thing you realize when you start getting duped, but it’s not until you get duped that you realize
They simply think it’s a good thing that their personal information is protected and don’t seem to question it. I’m going to put a lid on all the personal information.
I am wondering if a human community society can be built by creating a society where people don’t know who or where they are.

From the perspective of risk management, our job as a research company is to ensure that we are able to provide the best possible service to our clients before the event is completed.
It’s my job to find out before things happen. Police and law enforcement officials are mostly tasked with looking into things after they happen. However.
In the real world, it’s too late for things to happen, it’s only after the fact. But officials are understanding of what they’re looking into after the fact.
I am extremely negative about the research before things happen. This is what I call the ultimate mistake.

With the arrival of the undercover society on the horizon, a con man’s heaven is being formed. Now, once again.
I can’t help but think that the public and private sectors need to work together to discuss the handling of personal information.

天神祭　鉾流し神事

　今日２４日、明日２５日と天神祭り。

　天神祭りは日本３大祭り（祇園祭り、神田祭り、天神祭り）のひとつに数えられ、大阪天満宮が鎮座した2年後の天暦5年（951年）6月1日より始まったとされている。この時の祭事は大川より神鉾を流して、流れ着いた場所に祭場を設けて、その祭場で禊払いを行うというものであった。これが鉾流神事の元となり、その祭場に船で奉迎したことが船渡御の起源となっていると伝えられている。

　今朝、何時も通り京阪「なにわ橋」で下車、会社に向かって歩いていると、鉾流し橋に人だかりがしていた。

　アッそうか、今日から天神祭りだ。

　天神祭りは、一般的には２４日朝に行われる「鉾流し」神事から始まるとされており、８時過ぎからその神事が、私の通勤道である、鉾流し橋の下で行われる。たまたまカメラを持っていたので、早速撮影。ただ、神事が終わるまで付き合っている訳にも行かず、肝心の鉾流しのシーンは撮れなかったが、一応雰囲気だけはこのブログファンにも味わって貰おうと、若干の遅刻を覚悟して撮影させて貰った。

鉾流し神事の祭壇。非常に簡素な感じであるが、１０００年の昔から変わる事無く続けられているのだから、さもありなん、と、寧ろ簡素さが厳かに感じられた。

この後、この船に、子供２人と神主が乗り、大川に漕ぎ出し、川の中央付近で鉾を流す。

以下は我が家の神事。１年半前に我が家に来たポメラニアン（松谷廣太郎）、未だ１歳半であるが、はや当主の如き位置を占め、女房子供を下女の如くに使い、我が物顔でお過ごしなさっている。家の中と外の区別は全く無く、常時土足で自由気ままに出入りし、時に玄関扉が開いていると、戸外遠征もする。

今朝も、娘が出勤時に扉をキチッと閉めていなかったため、廣太郎殿は独り遠征にお出かけあそばし、小生はパジャマ姿で廣太郎殿と、鬼ごっこかかくれんぼかは判らないが、大変な騒ぎであった。

Today the 24th and tomorrow the 25th is Tenjin Festival.

The Tenjin Festival is one of Japan’s three major festivals (Gion, Kanda, and Tenjin) and is said to have started on June 1, 951, two years after Osaka Tenmangu Shrine was established. At this time, the purification ceremony was done by flowing the divine spears from the river and setting up a purification hall where the floats arrived. This became the origin of the Hoko Nagarashi ritual, and it is said that the origin of the boat ritual is that the boat was delivered to the site of the ritual.

This morning, as I walked to my office, I saw a crowd of people at Naniwa-bashi Bridge in Keihan.

Oh yeah, it’s the Tenjin Festival from today.

The Tenjin Festival generally starts with the “Hoko-nagashi” ritual on the morning of the 24th, and the ritual is held under the Hoko-nagashi Bridge, my commuter route, after 8:00. I happened to have a camera with me, so I took a picture right away. However, I couldn’t shoot the main scene of the floats until after the ritual, but I was prepared to be a little late so that I could experience the atmosphere in this blog.

The Shinto priests were all present and gave the congratulatory words in a loud voice.

After that, the representative members of the clan are lined up in a row, and everyone follows the Shinto priest and gives a congratulatory message together.

The altar of the Hoko Nagashi ritual. It was very simple, but the simplicity felt solemn because it has been going on for 1000 years without any change.

After this, two children and a Shinto priest get on this boat and row out to the big river and float the floats near the center of the river.

Pomeranian (Kotaro Matsutani), who came to our house one and a half years ago, is only one and a half years old, but he is now occupying the position of a master and using his wife and children as if they were his servants. There is no distinction between the inside and the outside of the house, and they always go in and out of the house with their feet on the ground at will.

This morning, too, my daughter did not close the door properly when she went to work, so Krotaro went out on an expedition by himself, and I was in my pajamas with him, playing tag or hide-and-seek, I don’t know.

近畿島根県人会５０周年記念イベント

昨日、近畿島根県人会の理事会が北区西天満の島根ビルで開催された。

なんと近畿島根県人会は今年創立５０年になる。そこで、５０周年記念事業を企画。「神々の国しまねフェアー」と題し、物産と観光の一大イベントを行う事となった。

　開催日時は平成２４年１１月１８日（日）、場所は大阪ビジネスパーク。ツイン２１の１階アトリウム、南プラザ、円形ホールを使用し、６，０００名の集客を見込んでいる。

　６，０００名と云う数字が何処からはじき出されたのかの報告は無かったが、大変な数字である。集客は各地区会が中心となるが、インターネットなどあらゆる媒体を使い広く広報に努めて欲しいとの要望があった。

　島根をこよなく愛す小生が協力しない訳には行かない。そこで、世界各国に当ブログを通じ広報することにした。

　会費も入場料も無料。１１月１８日当日、１１時から１７時までの開催で、島根県下各市町村が物産を行う他、郷土芸能の石見神楽、安来節、隠岐民謡、太鼓、踊り、歌など様々な出し物で、子供から高齢者まで幅広い年齢層が楽しめるイベントを企画している。

　石見神楽がただで観れ、隠岐民謡がただで聞けるのですよ・・・。そして島根の物産が格安で手に入るのです。参加しない訳には行かないでしょう、島根県人は勿論、何の関係もない人もOK、是非顔を出してやって下さいませ・・・。

The board of directors meeting of the Kinki Shimane Kenjinkai was held yesterday at the Shimane Building in Nishitenma, Kita-ku, Tokyo.

The Kinki Shimane Kenjinkai will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Therefore, a 50th anniversary project was planned. The event was titled “Shimane Fair, the land of the gods” and it was a big event of products and tourism.

It will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Osaka Business Park. It will use the Twin 21 first floor atrium, south plaza and circular hall and is expected to attract 6,000 people.

There was no report of where the figure of 6,000 was derived from, but it is a very large number. Each district meeting will be the main attraction, but there was a request to use all kinds of media, including the Internet, to promote the event widely.

I love Shimane so much that I can’t stop cooperating with it. Therefore, we decided to promote this blog to all over the world.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the day of November 18, and will be enjoyed by a wide range of people of all ages, from children to the elderly, with local performing arts such as Iwami Kagura, Yasugi-bushi, Oki folk songs, drums, dancing, and singing, in addition to local products from municipalities throughout Shimane Prefecture.

You can watch Iwami Kagura for free and listen to Oki folk songs for free… And you can get Shimane’s products at a discount. There is no reason not to participate, of course, Shimane people, even those who have nothing to do with it are OK, please come out and do it by all means….
