小生、数年前から真人塾という勉強会に参加している。

この塾は、主に天風会と盛和塾に関係する経営者の集まりで、以前は、50名以上の会員がいたが、大きくなりすぎた事もあって、3年ほど前に一度解散した。ところが半年後に一部の有志が、どうしてもと云う事で、再度立ち上げたもので、現在は少数精鋭というか、会員8名に限定し、月一ペースで勉強会を開いている。

「真人塾」、一寸仰々しい名称であるが、実は天風先生の著書「真人生の探究」からとったものであり、天風会員にとっては特に仰々しいと云う訳では無い。

ただこの会は、読んで字のごとくと云うか、名は体をあらわすと云うか、所謂、この世に、万物の霊長たる人間として生を受けたからには、生きがいのある人生、真人として生きようではないか？、その為にお互い切磋琢磨しようではないか、との意志のもとに集まっている会である。

従って、ある意味皆が真剣である。そして、本音で話し合う。

月一の会合では、一人がスピーカー役を務め、自分が決めたテーマで一時間話し、後の１時間、皆でその問題について意見交換をすると云うものである。

実は、昨日がこの真人塾の日であった。会場は持ち回りで、その時のスピーカー役に当たる人の会社が会場になることが普通となっており、昨日は小生が、その役に当たっていた為、弊社に来てもらった。

小生が選んだテーマは「終活」。所謂、人生の終末をテーマとしてみた。今年5月号の文芸春秋に、梅原猛が『終活』について書いていたのを見て、アッこれをテーマにしようと思いたったのである。

で、何を話したかと云うと、それはとてもブログには書けない。大体本人がよく判っていないのだから、書ける訳がない。

ただ、真人塾では、自分が判らないこと、出来ないこと、遣りたいこと等の諸々を話題に話し合い、少しでも人生を楽しく、幸せに、生きがいのあるものにしよと云うのだから、ある意味気楽で面白い。とにかく、皆が自分をさらけ出し、本音で話し合えるのが素晴らしい。

I have been participating in a study group called Shinjin Juku for several years now.

It used to have more than 50 members, but it was disbanded about three years ago because it had grown too big. However, half a year later, some volunteers decided to start it again, and it is now limited to a small number of members and holds study sessions once a month.

The name “Shinjin Juku” is a little bit ostentatious, but it was actually taken from the book “The search for the Shinjin life” of Dr. Tenpou, and it is not particularly ostentatious for the member of Tenpou.

I believe that since we were born into this world as human beings, the chief of all things, let’s live a life worth living, a life of true humanity. It is a group of people who have gathered for the purpose of improving each other’s skills.

Thus, in a sense, everyone is serious. And then we talk about it honestly.

At the monthly meeting, one person acts as a speaker, speaks for an hour on a topic of his or her own choosing, and for the next hour, everyone exchanges opinions on the issue.

As a matter of fact, yesterday was the day of this Shinjin Juku. The venue usually takes turns, and the company of the person who is the speaker at the time usually takes over the venue.

The theme I chose was “Life at the end of life”. I took up the theme of the end of life, so to speak. In the May issue of this year’s Bungei Shunju, I saw Takeru Umehara’s article on “Life after death” and decided to use it as my theme.

And what we talked about, it’s so badly blogged about. There is no way I can write about him because I don’t know him well.

However, at the Shinjin Juku, we discuss what we don’t understand, what we can’t do, what we want to do, and so on, and try to make life, even if only a little, fun, happy, and worth living. Anyway, it’s great that everyone is able to expose themselves and talk about their true feelings.

今週日曜日（13日）、関西隠岐人会総会が盛大に開催された。場所は梅新交差点の南東角にそびえるフェニックスタワー地下１階のアサヒスーパードライ。

関西隠岐人会は、日本海に浮かぶ風光明媚な島、世界ジオパークに認定された島、大山隠岐国立公園の島で、大きく分けて島前・島後に分かれ、島前は西ノ島（西ノ島町）、中之島（海士町）、知夫里島（知夫村）の３島から成り、島後は島後島（隠岐の島町）の１島である。この３町１村の出身者で関西地区に在住する老若男女を会員とする出郷者の郷土会である。

総会は2年に１度。郷里からは３町１村の町長、村長も出席し、見事に騒がしく楽しい会である。

This Sunday (13th), the general meeting of the Kansai Okijin Association was held with great success. Asahi Super Dry is located on the first basement floor of the Phoenix Tower on the southeast corner of the Umeshin intersection.

The Kansai Okijin-kai is an island in the Oyama Oki National Park, a scenic island in the Sea of Japan and certified as a World Geopark. It is a hometown association of people from the three towns and one village, with members of all ages living in the Kansai area.

The General Assembly meets once every two years. The mayors of the three towns and one village from my hometown also attended, and it was a wonderfully noisy and enjoyable meeting.

今週 火・水と東京出張。

火曜日の朝、京都駅より新幹線のぞみで東京へ。毎月のように東京出張はあるが、意外と富士山が山頂まで見えるのは稀。快晴と思っても富士の頂上付近は雲におおわれていることが多いが、今回は特に快晴というのでもないのに富士はちょっと恥ずかしげに霞をかぶり自分をさらけ出してくれた。

思わずスマホだパチリ。

I’m on a business trip to Tokyo on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

On Tuesday morning, I took the shinkansen Nozomi from Kyoto Station to Tokyo. There is a business trip to Tokyo every month, but it is rare to see Mt. Even if you think it’s clear, the area around the top of Fuji is often covered with clouds, but even though it wasn’t particularly clear this time, Fuji was a little shy and exposed itself with a haze.

Without thinking, I clicked my smartphone.

昨日所用にて岸和田市に行った。昔、調査員をしていた頃は岸和田にもしょちゅう行っていた。ところが最近はとんとご無沙汰であった。

そうだ、せっかく岸和田に行くのだから岸和田城に行ってみよう・・・。しかもこの陽気、春爛漫、桜も満開花盛りである。

所用の約束は午後2時。逆算して12時ジャストに会社を出て、地下鉄北浜から天下茶屋経由の南海岸和田駅へ、岸和田着13時。お城までは10分とかからない。途中コンビニで弁当を買い、岸和田城着13時15分。

お城の周辺は花見客で超満員。ところが、丁度お城の真ん前、文化会館の前のテーブルが一つ空いていた。これ幸いと、そこに腰かけ、一人コンビニ弁当を開く。

周辺は老人会や婦人会とおぼしき団体でいっぱい。ワイワイガヤガヤ、そうとうな賑いであった。でも、浮き立つような陽気と桜で、ワイガヤの騒音などは全く気にならない。

ただ、この陽気に一人コンビニ弁当はちょっと傍目には寂しく映ったかも。でも本人はいっこうに平気。ノンビリと、お城と桜をながめながらコンビニ弁当に舌つつみ。

すると、隣に居た、80歳余とおぼしきお爺さんが、コレっと紙コップに入ったお茶を出してくれた。全くの見ず知らずのお方である。エッと声が出そうになったが、その声を押さえ一声”ありがとうございます”。

なんと、その後のコンビニ弁当の美味しかったこと。人の人情って、こんなに弁当の味を変えるものか・・・。弁当を食べ終えると「ありがとうございました」心からのお礼の言葉が出た。

だんじりの岸和田は人情の街でもあった。

Yesterday I went to Kishiwada City on business. I used to go to Kishiwada often when I was a researcher. However, I hadn’t heard from him in recent years.

Since we’re going to Kishiwada, let’s go to Kishiwada Castle… Moreover, the spring is in full bloom and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

My appointment was at 2pm. Calculating backwards, I left the office at exactly 12:00 and took the subway Kitahama to Nankai Kishiwada Station via Tengachaya, arriving in Kishiwada at 13:00. It doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to get to the castle. I bought a packed lunch at a convenience store on the way and arrived at Kishiwada Castle at 13:15.

The area around the castle was packed with people watching cherry blossoms. However, there was a table in front of the cultural center, right in front of the castle, that was vacant. Taking advantage of this, I sat down there and opened a convenience store lunch box.

The surrounding area is filled with groups of elderly people and women’s groups. It was very lively. But with the buoyant sunshine and cherry blossoms, the noise of the Waigaya didn’t bother me at all.

However, the convenience store lunch box for one person seemed a little lonely to the side in this cheerful weather. But he’s not worried about it at all. I took it easy and ate a convenience store lunch while looking at the castle and the cherry blossoms.

Then, an old man next to me, who looked to be about 80 years old, served me tea in a paper cup. He was a complete stranger to me. I almost let out a gasp, but I suppressed my voice and said, “Thank you.

What a delicious convenience store bento afterwards. It’s amazing how humanity can change the taste of a lunch… When he finished his lunch, a heartfelt “Thank you” came out of his mouth.

Danjiri in Kishiwada was also a town of humanity.

先週の新聞報道によれば、泉佐野市の学校図書館から、まんが「はだしのゲン」が何時の間にか閲覧不可能な状況に置かれていたとのこと。

理由は、まんが「はだしのゲン」には、人権上不適当な言葉が使われているとして、市長が教育委員長に、閲覧できない様にするよう指示し、それを受けた委員長が校長会でその旨を告げ、各学校の図書館から「はだしのゲン」が消えていたもので、その事が問題視され、議論をよんでいる様である。

同様の事が島根の松江市でも過去にあり、問題になった事があったが、知ってか知らずか泉佐野でも起きていた訳である。

有識者は、「言論の自由」「表現の自由」などの面から、全体をとらえず一つの言葉、表現をとらえて規制をしようとする姿勢に大いに疑問を呈しているが、そんな事は普通の人が普通に考えれば普通に判ることであり、全般んを見ずして一つの単語をとらえ、出版や図書の閲覧に規制をかける姿勢は、正に思想統制、恐怖政治の始まりになりかねない。

こうした動きは過去にも多くあり、「言葉刈り」として問題視された事は１度や２度ではない。ただ、何故か、差別問題に関しては、表現の自由も言論の自由も大きく後退するようで、「差別」の御旗を立てれば、大概の事は押し通せて来ているようである。

民間の運動団体や結社が、何を云おうが何を書こうが、公序良俗に反しない限り構わないが、公の教育機関や行政が、強力な圧力に押され、偏った指導を行う事があってはならないと思うが、人権や差別に関わる問題については余りにも神経質になり過ぎている様に思えてならない。、

According to a newspaper report last week, the manga “Barefoot Gen” had been left unreadable for some time from a school library in Izumisano City.

In terms of “freedom of speech” and “freedom of expression,” the experts have expressed great doubts about the attitude of trying to regulate a single word or expression without looking at the whole, but this is something a normal person would understand if he or she thought about it normally.

There have been many such moves in the past, and they have not once or twice been called into question as “word-cutting”. However, for some reason, both freedom of expression and freedom of speech seem to have fallen far behind when it comes to the issue of discrimination, and it seems that most things can be pushed through as long as the flag of “discrimination” is raised.

I don’t care what private organizations and associations say or write, as long as it is not against public order and morals. and
