I got a call from an old client after a long time, “I have something I would like to discuss with you…
When I asked about the headquarters building in Honmachi together with the salesperson in charge, the manager of the general affairs department, who I knew for a long time, gave me an unusual frown and said, “No, I don’t.
I was embarrassed to say that I was talking to you about consultation, but I was talking about my employees,” he said. The contents are outlined below.
A female sales employee who has been with the company for 12 years. He is almost never late or absent, and although he looks like he is doing his job diligently, he is not getting any grades.
There was a rumor that he was working a night job,” so he asked us to look at his behavior during working hours and after he left the office. So.
A detailed meeting was immediately held and the next morning we were to start the action research.
On the morning of the day, three investigators were assigned to each investigator for the purpose of allocating the surveyed persons. There were two entrances to the company, one in the basement and the other on the ground floor, which required a minimum of three people.
We started the stakeout by checking her when she went to work well. The most important thing to watch out for in a follow-up investigation is
This is the time period of surveillance until the subject begins to move (stakeout). Anyway, he blends in with his surroundings in a natural way.
It’s the toughest time for an investigator to be on a stakeout without any discomfort, and you can’t take your eyes off the exit for a moment.
Depending on the situation, we had to keep staking out for 10 or 12 hours in such a position.
It’s a long time ago, but the longest I’ve had direct experience with a job was a stakeout that lasted a month and a half. But that’s not the case this time.
After an hour and a half of surveillance, the subject came out, and we started following him immediately. I was supposed to go to Kobe according to the advance information, but I took the train for Senri-chuo from Honmachi Subway Station and got off at Umeda Station.
I thought it was just as planned, but in reality, I entered the Hankyu Department Store and walked around leisurely looking at the products in a relaxed atmosphere.
I don’t feel like I’m trying to get something specific (it’s hard to follow someone in a department store), so I’m just hanging out for about half an hour and killing time, and then
Entered the Nabio Hankyu, took the escalator to the restaurant district on the 7th floor, there was a woman who seemed to be a colleague, and we entered the restaurant together. Oh my.
It took us two hours to eat at that restaurant. I left the same place at 1:30 p.m., parted with a colleague, walked alone in the East Street shopping street to a pachinko parlor this time, squashed about two hours here, and
I walked leisurely into the Hanshin Department Store. There was no sign of work at all. I stayed at the Hanshin station for about 30 minutes, went straight to the subway, and came back to work at 4:30.
At 6:10 a.m., the investigator staked out the area near the company and started following the subject.
We went to the southern entertainment district and entered a certain snack building. Take the elevator to the fourth floor.
However, the investigator only checked the 4th floor because it was too unnatural to take the same elevator, and stopped following him once.
Since it was almost 9 o’clock, I decided to kill time with a meal, as it was 7 o’clock and I couldn’t walk through the snacks.
The three investigators divided their hands to check the snacks on the 4th floor, and as a result, they found her standing and working in a small snack room of about 2,000 square meters.
You don’t even have an employee like that. Many people may be surprised to hear that a company is making such a request to an employee with suspicion.
The pattern of behavior is various, but 70-80% of them don’t do any work at all like this, they just waste time, go back to the office with a blank face when the time comes.
In most cases, they are filing bullshit daily reports.
