お盆に帰省してきた。

　隠岐は絵の島華の島・・・、西の島前、東の島後・・・、北前船の帆が揺れる・・・♪♪。そう、小生の田舎は隠岐の島。なかでも北前船の風待港として、江戸から明治に掛けては最も栄えていた、「大山」の出身である。

　大山と云ってもいささか広く、集落は、北の方と南の方（ナーノホウ）に二つに別れ、我輩はナーノホーの中心部に位置する鳥居さんの少し南にて産まれた。

　家は既になく、敷地は竹やぶに覆われ、隣家との境界もおぼつかなくなっているが、我が家の隣は「ラーゲリーからの遺書」の主人公、山本幡雄氏が生まれ育った所である。「それがどうした・・」と云われれば困るが、そうなのである。

　毎年何かの用事で帰省はしているが、お盆にノンビリと帰ったのは３年振りか？。以前にもこのブログで書いたことがあるが、お盆の夕方墓参りに行くと、それはそれは大変である。彼方此方から、「いつ帰らっしゃんしたかの・・」「いつまでござっかの・・」等など、声が掛かり、その度にひと言二言、言葉を交わしていると中々家路につかない。女房子供は呆れ顔であるが、それが何とも云えない帰郷の良さである。

　そんなこんなで３泊４日、久しぶりにノンビリとした田舎を満喫してきた。

友人の別荘でバーベキューの準備。　この御仁、中学の同級生であるが、妻子を松江に置き、一人隠岐に別荘を造り壮春を謳歌している。ヨットハウス、トレーラーハウス、キャンピグカーハウス、カラオケハウスと手作りで４棟を建て（設置）、２０人は宿泊OKと豪語している。

翌朝、大山のシャーラ舟を流すところ、新仏を舟にのせ沖から流す行事・・・

 

新仏の舟に同乗させてもらい、仏壇に供えた物の一部を流すのが普通であるが、船出に間に合わなかったため、簡単なボール箱舟を作り流したところ・・・・、何とも素朴で味がある

牧畑で草食む牛、　冬季以外は牧畑で放し飼いにしていてOK、子供も自力で産み、自然の中でそのまま育てる。子牛は母親の傍を離れることがないので誰の子供か一目瞭然とか

 

同じく巻畑で放し飼いされている馬・・・、廣太郎は馬を見るのは初めて、興味深深の様子・・・。馬は年中放し飼い、冬場でも雪を掻き分け草を食むらしい

I went back to my home town for Obon.

Oki is the island of the picture, the island of Hana-no-Island, the island of the west, the island of the east, the island of the east, the sail of the Kitamae ship sways…Â Yes, my countryside is the Oki Islands. He was born in Oyama, which was the most prosperous port for Kitamae ships from the Edo period to the Meiji period.

I was born a little south of Torii-san in the center of Narnohoe.

The house is already gone, the site is covered with bamboo fences, and the boundary with the neighboring house is not so clear. It would be embarrassing to be told, “What about it?”, but it is so.

I go back to Japan every year for some business, but it’s been three years since I went back to Japan for Obon. I’ve written about it before on this blog, but going to visit a grave in the evening of Obon is quite a challenge. Whenever I heard a word or two, I couldn’t help but go home. The wife and child were stunned, but that was the beauty of returning home.

And so we spent four days and three nights enjoying a relaxing country life for the first time in a long time.

Preparing a barbecue at a friend’s vacation home.　He left his wife and children in Matsue and built a villa in Oki and is enjoying the springtime. They have built (installed) four buildings by hand, including a yacht house, a trailer house, a camping car house, and a karaoke house, and they claim to be able to accommodate 20 people.

The next morning, when the shala boat of the Great Mountains is about to be floated, it is an event that the new Buddha is put on the boat and floated from the sea…

It is usual to pour out a part of the things offered to the Buddhist altar in the boat of the new Buddha, but we couldn’t get out in time, so we made a simple ball-box boat and poured it out… It is very simple and tasteful!

The cow that eats grass in the pasture field, it is kept free in the pasture field except in winter, and it is OK, and the child also gives birth by itself and raises it as it is in nature. A calf never leaves its mother’s side, so it’s easy to tell whose child it is.

It is the first time for Kotaro to see a horse, and he is very interested in it. Horses are free-ranging all year round, and even in winter, they shovel snow and graze.

我が家に廣太郎が来て早や６ケ月、今では一家の主的な存在で、我が物顔で各部屋を行き来し、内も外もなく庭と室を自由に出入りし、捕まえようとすると逃げ回り、知らぬ顔をするとちょっかいを掛けて来る。全く持って自由奔放、気ままなものである。廣太郎を見ていると「私は犬になりたい」的な心境になる。

先ずはご覧あれ。生後７ケ月半、人間に換算すると小学校４・５年らしい。この愛らしい顔で小生が帰宅するや否や全力で飛び掛ってくる・・・、とにかく恥じも外聞も無く、全身で喜びを表す。その姿を見ると仕事の疲れも悩みも一瞬に吹き飛んで仕舞う・・・・

最近は戸を開けることを覚えた、１センチほどの隙間があれば、そこに前足を突っ込み横に開ける、もしかして天才かも・・・・？、見ただけで賢さが判るでしょう・・・・

 

明日からお盆休み、久しぶりに隠岐へ帰ろうと思う。バンザーイ

When I see that figure, my work fatigue and worries are blown away in an instant….

I think I’m going back to Oki for the first time in a long time tomorrow. Banzai.

今週は超多忙。明日から東京で中々パソコンに向かう時間が取れない。先週金曜から日曜まで３日間は香里の修練会（天風会の）でした。

50名のところ65名の参加があり、嬉しい悲鳴でした。猛暑の中すし詰め状態でしたが、
それなりに活気のある良い修練会になりました。

今週は税務署さんが来てくれており、何かと大変でした。

 

This week has been super busy. I can’t take time to work on my computer from tomorrow in Tokyo. From Friday to Sunday last week, it was a three-day training session (of the Tenpukai) in Kori.

It turned out to be a good and lively novitiate in its own way.

This week, the taxman came to visit us, and it was hard to do anything.

先週金曜日から今週月曜まで４日間、神戸の徳光院にて天風会の夏期修練会が開催され、それに参加して来た。参加者110名、徳光院の会場は満杯であった。

夏期修練会は天風会員にとっては、1年最大の行事であり、万難を排し参加しなければならない。ただ、この修練会は各地で開催されており、一般的には自分が所属する賛助会が主催する修練会に参加するのが普通であるが、熱心な会員になると、全国の修練会をはしごする人も居る。

私は香里賛助会の所属であり、会員になった平成4年から20年間、一貫して香里の修練会に参加して来た。ところが、香里ばかりでは・・と言う事もり、一昨年から他の修練会がどんなのか見てやろう、との思いもあって、積極的に出向く事にした。一昨年が東京（5日間）、昨年が大阪（多武峰で４日間）、そして今年は神戸に参加した。

天風先生の教えは一つであり、修練会では天風哲学と心身統一法を系統的に学び行じるもので、何れの会場でも遣ることは一緒である。でも、会場の雰囲気は可也違い、それぞれ特色がある。また、参加するその時の気持ちによっても可也違って来る。

従って、何処がどうと断言できる様なものではないが、私にとって今年の神戸は素晴らしかった。東京、大阪に比べ参加人員が少なく、纏まりやすいと言う事も多分にあると思うが、それにも増して自分の精神状態の方が大きかった思う。安定打坐（天風式座禅）にしても真理瞑想（天風先生の悟りの教え）にしても、非常に気持ちよく出来、得るものが多くあった。

再来週の金、土、日は香里賛助会の修練会。この分だと、香里もきっと良い修練会になるだろう。そんな予感がプンプンとしている。

だって、何時もだと、参加人員が気にになり、やきもきするのが今頃であるが、早や3日前に予定人員をオーバーし、ネット上では募集を打ち切ったくらいである。それに小生の気持ちが乗っている。

From last Friday to this Monday, the Tenpukai summer training session was held at Tokkoin in Kobe for four days. With 110 participants, the hall at Tokkoin was full.

The summer training session is the biggest event of the year for the members of Heavenly Wind, and they have to participate in it without any difficulties. However, these Shurenkai are held in many places, and it is normal to participate in the Shurenkai organized by one’s own support group, but there are also people who go to other Shurenkai all over the country if they become enthusiastic members.

I belong to the Kori Support Society and have consistently participated in Kori’s training sessions for 20 years since I became a member in 1992. The year before last, however, I decided to go there to see what other shurenkai were like. The year before last I participated in Tokyo (5 days), last year in Osaka (4 days in Tamuho), and this year in Kobe.

The teachings of Master Tianfeng are one, and in the novitiate we systematically study and practice the philosophy of Tianfeng and the unification of mind and body in a systematic way, and what we do in either venue is the same. However, the atmosphere of the venue is quite different and each has its own characteristics. It also depends on how you feel at the time of participation.

So it’s not like I can say for sure, but this year’s Kobe was great for me. Compared to Tokyo and Osaka, the number of participants was less, so it was easier to organize, but I think my mental state was bigger than that. Whether it’s through stable daishi (Tenpou style zazen) or truth meditation (Tenpou Sensei’s enlightenment teachings), I felt very comfortable and had a lot to gain.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the following week are the training sessions of the Kori support group. At this rate, I’m sure Kari will have a good training session. I have a hunch that this is the way to go.

However, we exceeded the number of participants as early as three days ago, and the recruitment was cut off on the Internet. My feelings are riding on it.

訃報と云うのは何時何処で聞いてもビックリするが、最近は大概の知らせが携帯電話にかかって来る。

これが困ったものと云うのか、かける方は相手が何処でどの様な状態にあるのか知るよしもなく、一方的にかける。受けるほうは、反射的にハイ・・・・と応答。そこで、訃報を知らされると、とんでもなく動転する！。

車の運転中は本来携帯電話はドライブモードにしておくべきなのだが、中々そうも行かない。で、つい着信音に反応し出たところ、突然訃報の知らせ。

これは困る。気が動転して運転が・・・・、大事には至らなかったが、昨日運転中にそんな事があった。

やはり運転マナーはキッチリ護らないと・・・と強く思った。

　運転中の携帯受信は止めましょう

 

We are surprised to hear of obituaries anywhere and at any time, but nowadays most of the news comes to our cell phones.

The caller has no way of knowing where the other party is and what condition they are in. The recipient responds reflexively, “Hi… I was very upset when I heard the news of his death!

I should put my cell phone in drive mode when I’m driving, but it doesn’t work that way. Then, just as I was about to respond to the ring tone, I heard the news of his death.

This is embarrassing.

I strongly felt that I should follow good driving manners…

We should stop receiving cell phone calls while driving.
